Lutz painted the hull below the waterline with three coats of antifouling paint — this time in a striking red.
Gabi took care of the repairs above the waterline: she repainted the green stripes, the stern, and the entire cockpit. Between coats, a lot of uneven surfaces had to be smoothed out, which meant repeated filling, sanding, and painting until the surface was reasonably even. Finally, the topcoat has been applied—although in some spots, a second layer is still needed.
But compared to how it looked before, SuAn is already quite a sight again, especially with her red belly.
