Sailing in the North Pacific
After one year delay now we start our passage towards Alaska.
This will be a new experience for us: sailing in cold and foggy waters where the weather is changing frequently. Low pressure systems with lots of wind and rain are present all over the year.
Our destination is the Aleutian Island chain about 1300 nm northeast of Hokkaido. Only very few cruisers take that challenge, but the scenery must be beautiful with the wild and mostly uninhabited volcanic islands. We are very curios.
