Rich
a native of Baltimore, Maryland was drawn to Annapolis more than thirty years where he taught sailing at the Annapolis Sailing School and subsequently moved to Annapolis as his permanent home. He has been in yacht sales in Annapolis for more than twenty five years. Rich is extremely knowledgeable about sailing and boat designs. He is committed to his profession and to his clients, thus guiding you to the best boat specific to your sailing needs. He has a long list of repeat clients who have bought and sold several boats with him as they move "up the ladder" to accommodate their needs and dreams. Rich extends his assistance, sailing knowledge and experience beyond the final sale of a boat. He has been affiliated with The Annapolis Sailyard, Inc.
Elaine
is a native of Newport, Vermont which is located in the "Norteast Kingdom" of Vermont on the Canadian border, where most of her family still resides. Her professional career has been in the medical field managing several dental and medical practices between Vermont and Maryland. She now enjoys retirement, allowing her to get involved in home projects and gardening, as well as sailing and visiting family who live away. Though, she grew up on the water, did not start sailing till she met Richard, obviously falling in love with both!
Annapolis / Eastport
We have lived in this warm and inviting home in the quiet "Eastport" community of Annapolis, Maryland since we were married fifteen years ago. As with many Eastport residents, sailing played a part of bringing Richard and Elaine Kahn to their home on First Street in Eastport.
We never thought about any other neighborhood as a place to buy a home. Eastport to us meant a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We enjoy sailing the Chesapeake Bay in our 35' Baba "SeaBastion", as well as bare boat chartering in the Caribbean during the winter season.
