During the night we came close to the Solomon Island San Cristobal. During the sun rise nature produces a fantastic painting from light and clouds above that island.
We are sailing along the southern coast of San Cristobal. Our destination Honiara, the capital of the Solomons is located on the island Guadalcanal, the next island to the West.
Unfortunately the wind has left us and we are moving with a speed of 1.8 knots. This requires all of our patience as the sails are flapping caused by the waves.
