SuAn´s first trip ends in the beautiful Parua Bay. This is a side bay of the Hatea River outlet, just before the river opens into the Pacific Ocean. The bay is well protected from all sides. There are several boats moored in that bay permanently.

We meet our friends Dan and Jilly from SV Dazzler for dinner in the cozy restaurant Parua Bay Tavern. They came by car from Whangarei. This restaurant has a great view over the bay. One of those yachts is our SuAn.
