P2P stands for Port to Port and was started by the sailing community of Bundaberg to welcome cruisers from oversea. Participating yachts should arrive in October or November to get the quarantine fee back, which actually is higher then the regatta fee.
The volunteering helpers of the P2P committee provide seminars about cruising in Australia, sight seeing tours, BBQs and Happy Hours. We get T-shirts, bags, a mug, and information material about the region of Bundaberg.
We are deeply impressed by the very warm welcome in Bundaberg in Australia.
