Leaving Guam

This morning Lutz went with his bicycle to Customs in order to get the Port Clearance. Already last Friday we sent the ”Prior Arrival Notice” to the Japanese Coastguard. This is required for arriving in Japan.
It takes us quite some time to get our anchor up. The chain is heavily overgrown and we have to brush it clean foot by foot. The anchor itself sits very tight in the mud and only very slowly we can break it out.
Now we are on our way again. We are excited about the passage and even more about visiting Japan. During the passage we will leave the trade wind belt for good and soon we will need warm clothing.
