A Chinese with our names on a plate picks us up. Crowds of people at the modern airport of Guangzhou, traffic jam in front of the terminal, low hanging clouds, temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius - we are back in China.
Modern multilane highways sometimes cross each other on up to five levels. The traffic is smooth and the vehicles are quite new and plenty. It takes about an hour drive to reach the hotel in Foshan. Unfortunatelly the view of the cities is blocked by the grey clouds.
The company has booked us a room in the Swissotel in Foshan. The hotel is very nice. Breakfast is on level 50. But Gabi wonders why they have painted the windows white. Only a few days later we understood why: when the weather changes and the clouds move higher we can see the roads from our room on level 46.
