Being back from our wonderful trip to Canada we have lots of things to do on board.

We are anchoring now in the far end of Spa Creek and the sailing vessel Corseair is rafted to our boat. Stanley the single hand skipper takes care for SuAn when we are not around. Luckily the hurricane Earl and Julia did not come to landfall when we have been away. But to be prepared we had dismounted all sails, our new solar panels all safety equipment and now we have to take it out of the boat and reassemble them to have space inside again.

But before we start with new projects we invite crews from sailing yachts around us to have BBQ Bratwurst with self-made bread and beer and wine. This is the way how to meet new people to share ideas and knowledge about sailing and technical solutions on board. So the next evenings we are also invited to other boats or have dinner with Stanley when he is coming back from work.

We have finished the project Solar panels and therefore have enough power supply for our consumption. Lutz is now searching for the cause of the air bubbles in the cooling water system of our engine. We will report about this project on one of our next logbook updates. Finally Gabi has space to continue the sewing work for the new cockpit canvas as the old one is dissolving from the UV exposure. Besides those 3 big projects lots of small ones keep us busy.
