| MV Hamnavoe was especially built for the route Scrabster (Scotland) to Stromness (Orkney). It started its service 2003, is 112m long and can transport 600 passengers and 90 vehicles. It reaches a speed of 19 knots and passes the spectacular tidal water Pentland Firth. At the picture the ferry just enters Stromness Harbour area. |
