The lodge is located in a large wildlife reserve. Right in front of the restaurant is a small lake, a popular meeting place for a variety of species. From our table on the veranda of the restaurant, we can watch the animals that come to drink and bathe at the waterhole. It is a unique and fascinating experience.
On the second day, we take part in a safari through the approximately 4000-hectare wildlife reserve. Here we see not only zebras and many species of antelopes, but also elephants and rhinos. Our favorite is the two-week-old, clumsy rhino baby.
Our stay at the Omaruru Game Lodge is an unforgettable experience for us, which has brought us closer to the beauty and diversity of Namibia´s wildlife in a very special way.#
