Yesterday we have started our journey, four days earlier then planned. 10:20 a.m. we have left the Marina in Kusadasi and Lutz´s parents took pictures and videos of our departure.

Now we get the feeling, that we are doing something adventurous. It is a great feeling to sail our own boot. We are passing through a sailing race with hundred boots, all with spinnaker up, which is a great view. The wind starts with force 3 and increases up to force 7 in the evening and at night. So we decided to continue over night and change watches every 3 hours. It is difficult to sleep in a rolling boat and especially with all the noises from the sails, auto pilot, engine, etc. But the sunset and some dolphins in the morning make us forgetting the little sleep last night.

Today the wind is much less and we decide to stay overnight at anchorage in a bay of the Greek island Pholegandros. This island has only mountains, rocks, 650 inhabitants a little beach with a very tiny village but no trees and probably very little fresh water.
