Marc and Sharky, the 2 skippers from Sunsail delivered all the groceries for our 10 days trip. We were checking the 5 pages shopping list and found some meet, cheese and ham missing. Marc went shopping again. When we went picking him up from the supermarket by the Sunsail minivan we found one box with all the missing groceries in the car. Now we can eat double amounts of cheese and meat. We found space for every thing on board. As this boat is nice and big, there is enough space for 6 people including lots of food for our planned 10 days trip. At 12:45 p.m. we were leaving the Marina of Hamilton Island heading north. Nice wind from behind let us sail goose wing and 4 - 7 kt for the first 30 miles of our trip. Unfortunately the most difficult part of this trip was the last one. Darkness, a narrow passage with lots of reefs and shoaling waters and channel markers were making the passing difficult. Thanks our experienced skippers they knew what to do, we found a good anchorage place between Gloucester Island and Monties Reef. In Monties Resort we ended the day with a nice BBQ.
